In 2012 the same format was used but this time the Finals night was held at the Rodneys.

In the final were The Eyes , The Doctrates and Colonel Mustard. After a tough battle the judges announced Colonel Mustard as the winners.

Colonel Mustard were formed from the demise of another fantastic local band Hot Rods n Dragsters. They are regular performers at Lounge on the Farm and numerous other festivals.

Another shift in sound saw Colonel Mustard bring vintage funk rock sensibilities to proceedings with a set so groove heavy it had the power to possess limbs.  Delivered with plenty of guitar solos the four piece funk rockers fused infectious funk into rock ‘n’ roll which managed to both take it down with a few slow grooves and to kick out big sounding jams.  Songs such as Hanging Around and Never On A Monday were just two examples of Colonel Mustard’s song writing as they proved that a sound steeped in vintage history is just as enjoyable today as it ever was.  Colonel Mustard transformed the floor from Praeter’s prowling ground into a dance floor ranging from slow dances to … brave individual styles.    A set defined by mass rhythmic movements sadly had to come to an end, though Colonel Mustard were kind enough to return everyone’s limbs to them.
