Tonight is first night of the acoustic section and we are at the Four Fathoms with 6 acts on.
It has been sweltering all day and Fathoms is a bit like a greenhouse!!
First act on is Paul Hiley complete with his WHO medley.
Next up its Neil Wood –who I saw play in Prince at John Fielders 60th bash –and told him about HBR and he entered to play his soft voiced songs
Next its the one and only Strawberry Blue –guaranteed some humour and audience participation here!! Someone should tell him he has odd shoes on !!
Next its one of Herne Bays finest Ashley Crane with his powerful voice , excellent guitar playing and another Who medley!!
Now we have another newcomer act who only entered this week when we met them in the Divers — its Mike and Steve
And finally to round of a fantastic night we have the one and only Meg Garner.
It was so hot that a lot of the punters watched from the outside
